Fruitful discussions at the Tumor-LN-oC M42 online meeting

November 26, 2024

On Monday, 25.11.2024, the Tumor-LN-oC M42 consortium meeting took place online after 3.5 half years of the project. With all partners present, we had a very productive and insightful half-day meeting to discuss the updates, progress, challenges of the last 6 months, as well as and next steps and future plans.

With only one year to go, the proof of concept achieved, and the integration of all developed technological components of the final platform at ICCS in Athens planned for early 2025, we’re proud of the progress achieved so far and the innovations that have come out of the project. In addition, we’re glad to have had a chance to already pre-discss any issues that may come up and have plans in place to tackle any challenges arising from the complex integrated platform.

We’re thus ready and looking forward to the integration of the Tumor-LN-oC organ on chip platform into a functional TRL5 prototype, along with interfaces to standard lab equipment, as well as its validation for the two selected use cases – metastasis diagnosis and drug testing – with real lung cancer patient tissue samples during the last year of the project.

Thanks to all our partners for your active participation in the meeting and the project in general (unfortunately not all captured on the picture below!)
